Not received my official GMAT Score even after 25 days.

Question

Appeared for GMAT Centre base test on 13th August 2020. But not received the official score till date. Already escalated the matter by sending e mail to customer care but yet no reply. Though I received the unofficial report just after the test but official report has not come hence can not apply for colleges. Moreover it is quite disturbing also. What should I do next?

Hi, have you tried calling the customer care numbers? You could go to mba.com and chat with the customer care. I'm sorry to hear about your experience and hope this gets resolved soon.

Kbbali , that's a weird occurrence. I think you should be able to apply to the schools with your unofficial GMAT score. In any case, inform the schools about your problem so that they know about the issue and so that you get to know about their opinion on the matter while you try contacting GMAC to solve your problem.

Hi Kbbali,

If you are facing an immediate application deadline, then you might not have anything to worry about - as long as you get the rest of your application in on time. Business School Admissions Committees take weeks (and sometimes months) to review applications and decide who to invite to School. Since you have a copy of your Unofficial Score Report, you can list your Score on your applications (and the Unofficial Score is almost always the same as your Official Score, so the School(s) will know how you scored based on that information). If you contact each School's Admissions Department and explain your situation, then I would bet that the representatives in question would probably accept your Unofficial Score data until your formal Official Score becomes available. Thus, while you should absolutely keep in touch with GMAC to confirm that your Official Score is eventually released, you could probably apply on schedule and be fine.
