I just got a recommendation from one of the professors at NYU. How much weightage do you think it has? Very much ?, Ok ? or Just Ok?

I realized that I can access the database with the same login I use for admit status page. As of now, I don't see any student at all. I think it will only get populated after they have received the 1K deposit. So thats another two weeks.

Thought I ought to join the discussion...

Applied Sept 12 for W-Square W-nights
GMAT: 630 (Q: 45/78%, V: 31/61%, AWA: 6.0/95%)
UGPA: 3.2 / Engineering & Business / Average school
Some masters-level course work
WE: 1 yr tech consulting, 3 yrs Tax/Transfer Pricing analyst at a big Pharma co

Feel GMAT/academics could be my downfall but I'm tired of trying to figure this process out. I have not heard anything yet but am very anxious as many others on the board seem to be. Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations to everyone who got admitted.

Seems like AWA scores also play a big role in making the decisions. Does anyone know of someone getting admitted with AWA <5?

Just checked the status check website and I am IN. Very excited. I got into Westchester program which is my first choice. Good luck to all waiting. My stats are in of the earlier posts.
