Know Your Presenters  
  Emily Glaser  is from Long Island, NY and received her undergrad degree from Northwestern. Prior to attending Stern, Emily worked at Restaurant Brands International, focusing on marketing for the Burger King brand. At Stern, she was a Forte Fellow and Advancing Women in Business scholar. She also served on the executive boards of Stern Student Government and the Graduate Marketing Association, as well as worked as a Teaching Assistant for the core Strategy course. She graduated from Stern in May and will be working at Boston Consulting Group as a consultant.

Adam Smith  is a Senior Associate Director of MBA Admissions at NYU's Stern School of Business. He has been a member of the MBA Admissions team since 2013. In addition to working across all MBA programs at NYU Stern, Adam is an alumnus of the Langone Part-time MBA.

I was accepted to the program in the 2020 R2 admission cycle, but was not offered any financial aid. I tried but it was difficult for me to finance all the costs. Therefore, with heavy heart I had to decline the admission.

Since then I have improved my profile. I plan to apply to again in the R1 2022 admission cycle. Other than being able to finance the program, should I be concerned about applying again?

Hi, I am Shereef. My question is about my professional experience. How much would it affect my application if most of my significant work experience was as a freelance consultant? I currently work 9-5 job but I’ve leverage my experience to work with startups as a consultant and I believe these are more significant.

2) When I give both gre n gmat score, which score would be considered during review of my application 
3) Since I am working with public sector and it is very hard to get recommendation letter from my current employer however, a retired ED of my current organization is ready to recommend me but it would be through its personal mail id rather than official mail id since he is retired. How this recomm. situation would affect my application ??
