I did not quite understand the issue. So Internationals receive invitation, but they cannot come? Why cannot they just apply for a temporary visa and pay for air ticket to US (NY, maybe)? I presume, the cost of travelling from any continental US city to St. Louis is covered for all students including international ones.

I don't think airfare is covered for internationals.. May be one of u should write to admission office to confirm.. I know for sure that none of Indian students attended the event last year.

Hi everyone! Just got my admit today, from California. However, my first deposit date is set at March 15th which is sooner than I planned. I would like to visit St. Louis before I put down the deposit, but also don't have info on the admit weekend. Does anyone know when the admit weekend is, and/or if the deposit deadline can be moved back? Thanks everyone!

Does anyone (R2 applicants) know when can we expect the second packet to arrive? First packet mentioned its supposed to be in February.....

I received the second binder yesterday. It's a pity that international students do not want to visit the weekend. I talked to AdCom regarding the weekend for internationals. They are covering: - accommodation through the weekend - air ticket within US. So, the international flight should be covered by students themselves.

Errr... its not that International students dont want to come ... its like we cant come as most of us havent resigned from our jobs yet and traveling (from India in my case) would require atleast 1 week of leave which I am sure would be difficut for most of the Internationals And thank you for asking the adcom on behalf of the International students
