hey!!!
thanks for joining in.
Now here it goes how this will work:
some assumptions-
we all are working and can spare minimum 2hrs (in a strech) 4 days a week, 4hours each weekend ... this is applicable for 2 months minimum
common resources- og 13 or 14 or 15 etc
verbal review 2nd edition and quant review 2nd edition
possible then opt for e-gmat atleast sc
mgmat+ gmat prep 2 free+ try for paid gmat extended pack + gmatclub free tests
must try to gmatclub maths test
mgmat books
cr powerscore
gmatclub math book + gmatclub verbal book

so we will write here a dairy. its a bit similar to that of magoosh gmat 3 months/ 1 month/ etc plans
but basic difference here is we as the users try to customize and post our daily activities. in short we will try to post a weeks plan and if its ok with everyone we will follow the same and by weekend we will try to discuss doubts. doubts can be solved by explaining here if something is new of we can also share the link of similar question after searching from the forum itself.
example
week from 5th jan monday to 10th jan saturday , 2015.
quant- target topics- remainder + hcf, lcm, factors and multiples.
remainders-144665.html
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=198
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=199

approx 200+ ques ps + 200 ques ds = 400 remainder questions.
now here is a plan-- we will start with 500 or 600-700 level questions and will do 40-50 questions atleast from ps and 50ques from ds. now for doubts we can refer from the explainations and if e could find something new in our thought process we will share that too.
after a week we will see how much we are able to cover as per target. no matter that if we lag.. i am sure i will be the first one to lag... but in a week or so we will have that spirit of working as a team and motivate others and this is what b-school is all about.
after a week we will pledge to work 5 questions from our past topic daily.
i know this is very common and sound ridiculous but we need to put this plan on paper and stick to it. as i happened to a be a lazy person and i paid for it.
similar thing we will set for verbal-
5/jan - 10/jan
cr- inference+conclusion - 50 questions for same
10 rc least
etc

MOST IMP- Due to lack of time and typing skills kindly forgive for any typo errors and caps off/caps on etc. as this post is more about a plan formulation rather presentation of post.
i urge experts to guide us through we have 2 months in hand
sole purpose of this post to formulate a plan and put it into effect.
kindly review it and feel free for as many inputs you people can give
thanks

Sounds like a plan. Definitely, atleast 10 questions daily from each of the topics mentioned should be helpful.
The links mentioned by Celestial09 is solely for Remainders. Refer to the following links if u want questions from other topics.
gmat-ps-question-directory-by-topic-difficulty-127957.html
ds-question-directory-by-topic-difficulty-128728.html

Lets do it!

Hey!
So I came up a decent and reaistic plan for 5th jan till 10th jan. here it goes:
quant-
remainders
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=198
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=199

hcf,lcm,factors/multiples
inequalities (not absolute values and mods as i am planning it for next weak as they need good time specially for DS)
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=184
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=189
note- will solve both ps+ds.

verbal-
cr- inference and conclusion
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=120
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=116
rc- science passages
search.php?search_id=tag&tag_id=126

Actually we can solve from the link too many questions but reason I mentioned solely for remainders is that I am trying to be focused on daily /weekly plan.
This is actually a sort of GMAT dairy to keep me and people like me who are a bit lazzy.. on right track
Regards
Celestial

Hey Guys. So I am new to the group. Happy to be here.

My name is Laav. I am a junior in Information Technology, BS. I live in Ohio,US. I am originally from India.
My am pretty strong in PS, CR, SC. I need to work more on my RC and DS skills. My major problem with RC is note taking.

I aim to take the exam in early May. This will be my first attempt at the GMAT. I mostly use Magoosh and Manhattan GMAT for studying. I aim to be at the top and apply for the best schools.

Also, since you guys seem to be a lil ahead, fill me in real quick if you can. And let me know what is next on the agenda.

Look forward to the next few months.

Best,
Laav.

hey!!!
yes.. we are starting with it. a bit on active side. but it got a different
motive. let me explain you...
its a more of a gmat dairy. as already there are doubts and their solutions posted over gmatclub to great extent but for other doubts we will discuss here and trust me gmatclub experts are always ready with their grey areas in head to help us out. we will write a plan an will act upon it. thats the main purpose.
example- we all decide with a topic in maths and similar with verbal.
for that week we will do our best to complete it and try to be at par. then sundays will be doubts session. we can discuss over forum and skype too.
now this will prepare people like me who always failed till yesterday to enact upon a plan. this group will make us focus towards a specific plan.
hope it made a point to you.
thanks..

kudos are easiest way to say convey your thanks..

Hello!
So coming with the end of this week, still i lag somewhere in keeping my pace with plans
This is what most imp here to make a note of where we all are lagging.
updates-
quants- did remainders approx 60 ques ps and 20 ds (need to do more 30 ds)
hcf/lcm/factors/divisibility etc 50 ques
inequalities- to certain extent done. accuracy 50%
its where ds i am suffering

verbal-
cr: inference + assumption. total 50 ques
rc- just 5 para
so over all i tried to stick with my plan to 70%
next week comes with further strong commitment to stick with 100% of the weekly plann
daily avg hrs- 2.5hrs

so now folks.. how about you all?
thanks

Hi. I planned to finish Quant related to Divisbility and reminders this week. DId PS question nearly 60 of them. Have to do more in DS. I somehow seem to get carried away with DS. The Easy and Med questions are a breeze. But when it comes to hard questions, I really need to buck up and finish within 2 minutes.

For next week, I plan to finish All Quant related to Divisibility and Probability.

Hello!
So here it comes another dreadful week for me with lots of distractions and some serious tragic instance , but still I tried to stick with my plan as much possible.
For 19 jan a to 24th jan week my study schedule goes as :
quant- sole focus on geometry + rate, time, work problems+ speed ,distance and time . along with that few questions from number theory.
again i skipped ds this week so will give a bit more time to ds and concepts tested heavily.

verbal-
rc: strengthen ,weakening,inference and assumption(revision)
rc: focusing on science and women empowerment (humanities) passages and few articles from economist.
sc: will start this week. planning to done with subj verb, pronouns along with 50 weekly.

hope this week ill get good start for me.
stay tuned and people i appreciate you liked this start but please post your plans too.. it will motivate me too for knowing good plans of your.
thanks

Hi!
I did a few OG 13 questions this week. Wanted to give time to Manhattan Guides, but I am not able to do so...
I tried to give a GMAT prep exam today but I was not serious enough so left it in the middle only.
I plan to do a more serious study in the coming week.

hello!!!
i am facing same.. but i read a line on this forum itself... take a bigger picture... look for motivation.. and i would like to add one line of my own.
what if i couldn't get a decent and competitive gmat score?
then no mba..
then all future plans and goals at stake..
it petrifies me..
so i need to pull up my socks and work for it..
i plan for 100 ques a day.. and just not hitting even half... rest hope you could get my point.
i am no good in explaining and solving doubts.. i am here to make a weekly plan and enact upon it..

My Plan for this week:

Quants:
Divisibility/Multiples/Factors

Verbal:
CR: Focus on Inference questions.
RC: Long passages( Although, I think it will be there every week as I'm struggling with it and also I feel one needs to solve RC everyday)
SC : Emphasis Verb Tense, SV and Pronoun Agreement

Lets see how it goes.
