Hi GoodGuy, in general, how has been your trend in the other exams that you appeared in?

Which specific section in Verbal, has been your pain area and do you have ESRs for your earlier attempts that you can post here. It will help us analyze your situation better.

Hi GoodGuy,

First off, a 700/Q50 is an outstanding score (it's right around the 90th percentile overall), so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. As such, a retest is probably not necessary. Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admission ... tants-124/

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long did you study before each attempt at the GMAT?
2) What study materials did you use to study for each attempt?
3) What were EACH of your Official GMAT Scores (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi,

I have given GMAT 4 times and the max i could score is 700 (Q50 , V 34). I am targeting top 30 colleges and hence I am planning to re take the GMAT. I am looking for an online verbal course which can help me brush my basics and prepare me to score around V40. in my previous attempts i have already taken the online course by eGMAT but didn't help much. Can someone please suggest a course.

In addition to this course I already have the latest online edition of OG and VR. I have also bought 6 official GMAT practice tests. I also have subscription to official GMAT question pack, Veritas prep tests and Manhattan official tests.

Please recommend a course which will strengthen my basics and lay a foundation for a higher Verbal score. Thanks.

It sounds like you have access to lots of questions, but what you are lacking is perhaps timing and accuracy. Besides making sure you are not making stupid/silly mistakes, you my find that a thought process approach is something that you can take with you to each and every question with slight variations.

How is your verbal breakdown. To start off, here are some Google drive links you can use with OG video explanations.
