So by when does everyone plan to submit the financial guarantee? I understand there's no deadline set by SBS, but to apply for the visa, what is an advisable timeline?

Hi people, so has anyone submitted the financial guarantee yet? I am arranging for the funds and wondering what's the latest time for the same - to get the CAS form from Oxford and then apply for the visa.

^ I think a lot of the R2 admits have already submitted the financial guarantee, and some of us already received the acceptance at the college of choice.
I don't thinks it's a time limit (of course, until the start of the course!) to submit the financial guarantee, but without it, your file won't go to for the college placement; so delaying to submit the FG, most of the colleges will become full and you will have fewer and fewer colleges to choose from.

No, I don't think that's the case - I have already received an offer from a college (the letter says I have 4 weeks to accept), without submitting the FG. To apply and be accepted to a college, all they need is the initial deposit which was to be paid by 16th April. Now I am looking at acco options. Not sure whether this is the right forum to discuss this, but would anyone be wanting to share a pvt accommodation at Oxford? I'll be arriving with my wife and if there's another couple wanting to share a 2 bedroom apartment, it'll be great. PM me if anyone's keen on exploring this.

That's good for you, my file wasn't sent until the FG was completed.
You'd better check the admits' iSBS/Facebook/Google group pages, there are several couples discussing accommodation options.

Sorry All for my lame attendance at GmatClub over the last 3 months. Hilary was Hellary, and then I was generally where far from a computer for the term break.

Admits: Congratulations and welcome to the club! -- Get ready for an intense and, yet the best year of your lives.

Applicants: Goodluck for the R3 decisions.

JBS guys: Goodluck and well done too. There is no animosity. Both schools get along well. We have collaborated in many joint events already with the fine folks from JBS.

If any of you have specific/urgent questions, do PM me - that's the best way, as I am not watching this thread daily.
