Fellow applicants,

How did you approach the first essay ?
I'm having a hard time figuring out the best way to go about this.
I can either elaborate on one significant achievement, where I took an initiative in the professional environment, and accomplished something.
OR
The above achievement, in lesser details, along with another quality/achievement. This way I will have two personal attributes to showcase, but I'm feeling that I am not doing justice to these experiences if I squeeze them together into the 400 word limit.

Would it better to use the second example in the 200 words essay ?

I'd be grateful for any thoughts/suggestions..

Slug, this will depend entirely upon the qualities you wish to talk about and corresponding examples. With tight editing you can use two examples.

Another approach could be to mention one quality and use more than one example to demonstrate it

Calling all ISB Applicants - (2017 Intake) Class of 2018 [#permalink]
I have applied in cycle 2..

The admission calendar says final offer date is March 5th.
I wanted to know,
1. Since there is no fixed date for announcement of result, how are shortlists communicated to the applicant
2. In case one gets shortlisted, are there any tentative interview dates declared, are interviews conducted on weekends ?

I am asking this question as I have some unavoidable work related commitment in the month of February.

In such cases, do they entertain skype interview for students within india ?

I have the same question. When does the school start sending interview invites after the application deadline? Can someone please answer this?

I remember reading somewhere (or was it on the ISB webinar) that the interviews would be conducted around Feb

Has ISB started rolling out the interview invitations for R2? Or will they do it after 15th Jan?

I just submitted my application for PGP Round 2. The deadline is 15th January,'17. Should the recommendation also be submitted submitted by the deadline, or can it be submitted later?

I think it's preferable to submit recommendation by deadline. But, it can be submitted after deadline

Thanks a lot! Actually, I had recieved a mail a couple of days ago that mentioned 22 january as the last date for evaluation submission. But all communications elsewise(official site) state that deadline must be followed.

Do they call everyone or only a sample set?
And will they call anonymous or will they share my details, giving my manager reason to doubt me...
