Hey guys,
Just finished the exam and wanted to share my experience with you.
1) Everything went well. That was my first time taking the GMAT online, so I was a bit worried about technical issues. Their support guys were friendly and always promptly responded to my questions. Still not sure why candidates are not allowed to wear hats during the exam tho.
2) 80-90% of the quantitive section was "sufficient/not sufficient" questions. Is it normal?
Let me know if you have any questions. I will gladly answer them as soon as I can.
Hello,
titianooo. I hope you might consider expanding this post in the future, allowing the community to see how you approached your prep work, as well as your eventual score. I have never heard of a Quant section consisting of such a large concentration of DS questions. In fact, even 80 percent would be more than double what I have come to learn about the question composition of that section. I wonder if those questions simply stood out to you more as you were going through the exam. (I guess we will never really know, since you cannot order an ESR to break things down.) Whatever the case may be, I am glad that you reported it. Perhaps other online test-takers can report whether this apparent anomaly held true during their own exam. (And as an aside, I hope you are comfortable with DS questions.)
Thank you for sharing. Good luck with the results. At least you cleared the first hurdle and took the exam.
