Your GMAT combined with your unemployed status is a real double whammy. If you can do something about the unemployment you could have a decent chance at some of the schools on your list such as Buffalo, Syracuse, and Pitt. Other schools to consider would be Case Western, Rice, DePaul (Chicago), and Baylor. Sorry but I don't know of schools strong in marketing where your profile would help you. Your Thai background and government banking work give your profile some distinctiveness but unless you can do something about the unemployed status I think UIUC and Smeal out not realistic shots for you. See Accepted.com's advice for applicants with low GMATs.
