and are bags allowed in the center ?

can we keep bag in the locker itself ?

Hi akshayuberoi,

One of the standard procedures at most Testing Facilities is that you are not allowed to take any of your possessions into the Computer Lab with you (so no wallet, phone, keys, hat, coat, etc.). As such, you will almost certainly be provided a secure locker (with a key) to keep your possessions in while you are taking your Test.

Hey. My exam was scheduled on July 1 and I just received a cancellation email i.e. on June 29.

Hence, the update is generally 24-48 hours before the exam date.

my exam was scheduled on 3rd july 2021 and i just got the cancellation mail.
this is beyond ridiculous as its the 2nd time this is happening. they cancelled my exam on 3rd june as well.
Pearson, you are guys are leading test taking professionals in the country, its highly unexpected from you.
also they are saying covid-19 restrictions, but literally the whole city has been opened up and there are no restrictions anywhere.
i am running on a tight schedule of applying to colleges with a decent score and this has just been disappointing so far.
i cant consider online gmat as my home conditions do not allow me to give a 4 hour exam with absolute concentration. i have ailing parents at home and i have to take care of them and i just cant concentrate.
anyways, here is another 1 month wait, i really dont know what to do.

Hi, did anyone write GMAT at this center recently? I checked with them over phone and they confirmed that they are operating now. But exams scheduled on weekends may be affected because of weekend covid restriction guidelines.

I took the exam at this center recently.
The place is easily accessible as it is located right in the heart of the city.
Although the test center was noise-free and had all the basic facilities such as lockers, washrooms and drinking water inside the premises, the scratch-pad and accompanying markers ruined the testing experience.
Even though I had checked the markers beforehand, yet they stopped working frequently during the exam and I had to request the center staff to replace them several times, resulting in loss of crucial time and concentration.
Also, during the 8 minute breaks, I requested the staff that they allow me to remain seated on my chair before it's time for the next section, but they declined my request saying that is not allowed and added that the test taker either needs to leave the room or must continue with the next section of the test. To be honest, this was quite strange and unexpected.

Barakhamba road Pearson vue center suc** big time.
They gave me bad pens and erasable notepad. Single strokes of the pens would not write anything on the pad and i struggled with the pens.
this wasted my time where every second counts in GMAT.

Raised hands and then got pens replaced , still the same issue. Tried writing with much pressure and less pressure on the pen/or revolving the pen then writing / anti clockwise , clockwise , then pens suc**ed big time.

When they give you those pens they tell you to test them , by drawing lines , lines are easily made , but words and numbers are not.

Quality control should be there , for an exam like this.

(Dont say , i didnot complain , i did but they didnot do anything for me)

The centre is very good. They have 2 rooms well equipped with all the facilities. And would recommend anyone going for GMAT in Delhi to go there. It is at par Noida centre. Unlike Noida centre, this centre has the washrooms within the centre only whereas in Noida, at the time of my examination, one had to go out a little for the washroom. The staff was very courteous.
