It is awesome that people here take the time to give evaluations/feedback on profiles! I look forward to hearing some on mine:

Gender: Male
Age: 28 when I apply
GMAT: 720 (Expected)
Bachelors: University of Mumbai (Large university in India, considered average) - Engineering, IT - GPA 68/100
Masters : Iowa State (Ames, IA, USA) - Computer Engineering - 3.89/4.0
UC Berkeley Extension : Certificate in Management - 4.0/4.0 <- Don't know if this helps

Application plan: IMD R2- Jan 2015 intake, All others R1 - September 2015 intake

International Exposure:
-Studied in India till Bachelors, studied and worked in the US ever since (6 years).
- Responsible for global sales/marketing of product I manage so I have significant interaction with sales reps/customers across the globe.

Extra curricular:
- Held leadership role in a student organization involved in community service at Iowa State
- Volunteer tutor for underprivileged high school kids for the past year (2 years when I apply)

Work experience:
- 4.5 years when I apply,
- 4 years in gradually senior engineering positions designing microchips.
- Recently promoted to Product Manager (8 months at application), responsible for deciding the strategy of the product in terms of marketing, sales, technology partnership as well as future engineering requirements.
- Currently work in the Silicon Valley in a small high tech company that is owned by a Fortune 500 company. etc.

- First employee of a tech start up (Worked there for 2 years, gradually got involved in all aspects of running the company)
- Youngest senior engineer at current company
- Youngest Product Manager at current company
- Full scholarship for Masters

- Columbia
- Stern

While you are in the challenging Indian-in-IT over-represented group, your work experience seems distinctive (type of companies, achievement, global aspect, impact/achievement), and also very relevant to and a solid foundation for your goals.

With the expected GMAT score of 720, I’d consider your list of target schools sound. They would obviously be reasonable reaches, especially Columbia, but with great applications, I’d expect you to have a couple of admits at least.
