Please evaluate:31/Indian/Male/Programme manager(IT)

Question

Hi Paul ,
Need your advice on my profile:

Indian Male ,31yrs of age .
About 10 years of Experience in IT .
Past 5 yrs in Managerial role.
GPA 3.3 in Engineering(electronics) 
Have worked with Big international clients in various domains(Telecom,Aerospace,Hitech,automobiles etc).
Have varied international work experience in France, Germany, spain and UK. Iam now based in UK and a permanent resident.
Have done few consulting assignments on IT strategy(CEO/CIO/Director level) and in the past managed multicultural team of 20 people from different countries.

Now managing a programme with 3 projects and a team of 30 people.

I am a keen investor;a partner in a restaurant and a shareholder/Investor in a startup IT company.
Keen sportsman ,participated in junior nationals in India in athletics(100M & 200m),twice
Was an active volunteer in aiding tunami victims in India.

I have not yet given my GMAT but aiming for 680-700+ .

With this profile what are my chances at INSEAD,IMD, Oxford or Cambridge?

Your leadership profile looks strong, very strong, so assuming a 700 GMAT you should be competitive at all these schools, though Oxford and Cambridge are probably more likely than Insead and IMD. My only concern (aside from the "Male IT Indian" issue which puts you in a competitive demographic) is the community or extracurricular leadership. This probably matters less at European schools then at American schools, but, still, community/extracurricular is another forum in which you can show leadership and in which many of the top applicants you're competing with will have stories. But other than that you seem competitive.

Thanks very much Paul,
I have very strong entrepreneural inclination.Though I want to do an MBA from these colleges, Iam not sure which one is the best for me in terms of equiping me with the skills that will complement my desire to be an entrepreneur.Please can you suggest .

I think of INSEAD as being more of a consulting feeder school, and Oxford seems to send more people into finance. IMD is much more of a general management school in terms of where its MBAs wind up, so maybe it is the best program for you given your entrepreneurial plans. I don't have as much info on Cambridge. In the U.S., some outstanding entrepreneurship programs include USC, MIT Sloan, Michigan, Texas, and UCLA.
