Hi Paul
I took my Gmat for the third time today and got a 570.
My other scores are, 550, 600 and 570 on the last one. My gmap prep scores were however always above 700. I will probably take the test again but due to circumstances I have to get into an MBA program this year.(I need to return to my home country by 2009)
I have 2.5 years work experience in various industries including IT and Banking and also have experience in setting up offshore offices for my company. I have great recomendation from the CEO of my company, and my undergrad gpa is 3.5.
I would really appreciate if you can evaluate my situation and give me some advice on which universities I should apply to. Currently I am aiming for UIUC
University of Minnesota Twincities(Carlson School)
Temple University
Pensylvania State University.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

Minnesota and Temple will be long shots for you. So will Penn State, but not as big of one. UIUC should let you in. I don't think you should take the GMAT a fourth time. Three seems to be the magic cut-off number; after that they start to question your thinking. Some decent schools you have a shot at include Case Western, Rice, Baylor, DePaul (Chicago), Geo. Washington U., Babson, maybe Vanderbilt.
