Hi,
Iam a 30 yr male,indian.
academic profile:
MBBS from india
Post grad from india in radiology after pesueing post grad for a yr in anaesthesia from one of the best institutes in delhi.
Always an A+ grader at med school.
Cleared post grad in first attempt when the exits results are only 15 %
Presented papers in various national conferences.
Very active academic involvement in my hospital
Teaching undergrads and nurses and radiology tech staff.
Work exp:
3 years of prost grad work in a 2000 bedded hospital
1 yr after post grad as a radiologist in various hospitals.
presentle working for a cancer hospital in singapore
extracurricular:
Child hood in iran where my parents used to work assessed the culture and differences with hinduism.
Moved to a village in india for a year to live with my grand parents till my parents came back from iran there after moved to delhi .
High School vice captain.
Part of the cultural council and school program dev board.
Literary secretary in med school.
Part of the med school dramatic society.
Arranged quizzes and debating society programs .
Also took part and represented med school across india in dabating and dramatics as a director and stage project incharge.
Part of the med school sport cricket team until down with some back problem.
Taken part in many polio eradication programs
Blood donation camps.
Visits to blind school and old age homes.
Actively involved in AIDS control program and awareness to the public through my hospital.
Worked for cancer societies
Work in close conjuction with my wife(who is a child specialist) in managing mentally challenged children.
setbacks in life :failed certain competitive exams but work more hard and came back with better results.
lack of structuredindustry experience .
strenghts:
Worked under high pressure situations.
Looked at life from a very close perspective in terms of seeing terminally ill patients working as a cancer radiologists and empathizing with them.
Managed work and extracurricular hand in glove.
Lived in cross cultural ,multi ethenic life ranging from from iran, village life without electricity to cities like singapore, travelled extensively within india(native of north india and mbbs from south india)
I am a very very social person easy going mix up with diverse poeple.
I have not taken GMAT but would be taking it wanting to get some where b/w 600-700
Looking for a change into the global business aspect of medicine, pharma,health insurance, pharma equity etc and imaging device company .
looking for consulting and business stategy planning after an mba.
Please advise me some schools i should apply to.
I dont mind a healthcare mba as well but more inclined for a general mba.
