Please evaluate my profile

Question

I am currently finishing up one of my apps for a top 10 b-school. I am an African American male currently with 6 years of work experience working for a large fortune 500 healthcare company in the sales realm. I have always been a stellar sales rep, awards, high rankings, some leadership roles in my company, but never managed others. I have a 3.2 from a small liberal arts university with a premed background. I scored a 710 on
My GMAT and played division 1 basketball. I am looking to get into healthcare consulting or brand strategy with a large company and will be more specific as I construct my essays. What are my chances for a top 10 b school?

A few questions:

Is your GMAT balanced? How is the quant score? 
  Did you do well in quant classes in your undergrad? 
 Which schools in the Top 10?

Linda,

Thank you for the reply. My quant score was a 46 while my verbal was a 42. I did well in UG in my quant classes (calc 1-A calc 2-A statistics-A research methods-A). I am looking at top ten in the Northeast NYU, Columbia, or Wharton are my goals)

Thanks for your reply.

Wharton and CBS are stretch programs. You are more competitive at NYU Stern. You didn't mention Yale or Tuck, but they are also good options. Duke isn't in the Northeast, but if you can consider something out of the NE, it might be a real good program for you to consider.
