Hi,
I am from India.
Interested to be in a good college in UK for MBA .
My profile is like that (Summing up all the subjects and dividing by total no of subjects) -
Xth standard - 72.55 %
XII standard - 78 %
Graduation in Engineering (IT) - 8.88/10
2 years of job experience in IT Company
Is it possible for me to get a chance in a good college in UK ?
Please suggest what should be the GMAT score and what are the colleges where can I get the chance and studying on these colleges will be really a value of money ?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your posting.
There are many excellent MBA programs in the UK; however for you it all depends upon (a) how you score on your GMAT exam and (b) how strong your application is. These two factors account for a large portion of your overall admissions score, so the higher/better each one of them is, the better your chance of being admitted to a better program.
One thing that you should be aware of is that you are in a very competitive demographic and the stated acceptance rate is actually much lower than the overall acceptance rate. Keep this in mind when applying and keeping your expectations reasonable.
Some schools you might want to consider include Manchester, Leeds, Cass and Imperial.
Good luck.

Thanks Manhattan Review for your valuable response. Its really meant for me.
Could you please give me more specific answer.
I have short listed 4 colleges of UK where I want to apply -
Lancaster University Management School
Manchester Metropolitan
University Of Glasgow Business School
Leeds
Is it possible for me to apply on these universities ?
How much scholarship can I get and what is the criteria for that ?
As I heard most of the UK colleges are not bother about GMAT score , is it true ?
Waiting for your valuable response.
Thanks in advance ..

Is it possible for me to apply on these universities ? BASED ON YOUR STATS, I BELIEVE THAT YOU WOULD BE A STRONG CANDIDATE FOR EACH OF THESE SCHOOLS.
How much scholarship can I get and what is the criteria for that ? BUSINESS SCHOOLS GENERALLY DO NOT PROVIDE MUCH SCHOLARSHIP MONEY. YOU WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT EACH SCHOOL TO FIND OUT WHAT PROGRAMS THEY MIGHT HAVE AVAILABLE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.
As I heard most of the UK colleges are not bother about GMAT score , is it true ? NOT TRUE. AGAIN, CONTACT EACH SCHOOL AND ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR POLICIES.

Hi ,
In most of the UK colleges the entry requirement is 3 years of managerial experience .
But as I am working in a IT company as software developer ,, Do you think still I have a chance ?
Please reply .
