Hello,
I believe I addressed an earlier post by you.
1) Most schools now accept the GRE as well as GMAT – you still have to check each school, but the GRE will be accepted by most. However, the adcoms are truly more familiar with and have more confidence in the GMAT, so it will still benefit your applicant to take the GMAT unless you absolutely do poorly on that test – I’ve heard this directly from various adcom members. If you have time to prepare and score well on the GMAT, that’s ideal, I believe.
2) I believe I answered this in the previous post.
3) Top-15 is not too likely, in my opinion. I suggest targeting top-20 to top-25 or top-30.
4) I’d consider CMU and Texas to be high reaches but perhaps not out of reach, whereas Wharton and NYU would be a very, very long stretch, probably unrealistic.
