Work experience -
4 yrs IT in BFS (Developer > Analyst > Project Lead (India/Australia) > Leader for centre of excellence)
Education -
Bach. of Engg. in National Inst. of Technology, Nagpur, India
Extracurriculars -
Photography (featured photographer on a commercial photography site)
Trekking
Assisted in setting up local sub-chapter for a SPIC-MACAY (a national organization to promote Indian Classical Music)
Set up blood donation camps during under-graduate studies
Organized a robotics competitions for national level college tech festivals
Occasional work with leprosy patients
Post MBA goals -
Product Manager/Business Development Leader
Target schools -
Tuck (Stretch School), SBS, ISB... Thinking of around 3 more schools - INSEAD is one.
Could you evaluate my profile and let me know if I should try the ultra-elites?
My next question is, while selecting a school, how much importance should I give to course fees? In my case, scholarships/loans are going to be a fairly major source of funding.
BTW - I just went through the 'advice for indian applicants' page. Excellent article - I have to review my research...

SBS is which school? Stanford? With Tuck and INSEAD, I think you may be aiming a bit high given your profile, which is good but not superhuman. Given your goals you might want to aim more toward schools like Michigan and Duke. Regarding scholarships, if they're a crucial factor for you then you should aim lower in the food chain, because schools tend to offer scholarships to people they really want, i.e., applicants who are stronger than their typical pool.

I think Said would be in your long-shot group but I would not discourage you from applying as long as you added to your list some more schools where you'd be more competitive.
But I was hoping that my profile would look better and gain some focus with some more detail. Perhaps you could relook and let me know if this changes anything.
