You are 27 .. and will perhaps be 28 by the time you matriculate (I am also 27 and will be 28 by the time I finish my applications). If the median is 28, then that means that you are almost in the middle. So, don't worry about the age for any of those schools.

Other: travelled quite a bit and lived in 3 countries.

Why an MBA :
Would start in 2008, with 4.5 years of professional experience. Time for me to sit in a class, share with others my experiences, listen to theirs, learn and boost my carreer.

Post MBA goals : continue in the MC industry with a focus on financial risk boutiques.

Target Schools : Kellogg, GSB, Wharton, why not MIT, HBS (maybe too young for that one)?

Thanks a lot for your feedback !!!!

CerealsMBA,

You have a distinctive and impressive profile, so I think you can aim high. At your age you will not be considered "too young" by any school. I wouldn't discourage you from applying at any of the five schools you mentioned--maybe even a chance at HBS. Given your consulting goals why not aim for Stanford and Tuck as well?

Good luck,
