Hi jassiinpublic,

Although your GMAT score is strong (and there are certainly many other factors to your application), if you believe you can improve your score by 40+ points you may want to consider taking the test again. The reason is that on your application your GMAT score is self-reported, so admissions teams will only focus on your highest score. There isn't a downside to taking the test again (other than the cost and time needed to study).

The programs you are applying to are going to be looking for leadership experience and for candidates who have made an impact, and it will be important to emphasize this in your application.
