MBA Goals
I want to go into general management at a f500 company. Specifically, I'm looking at rotational/leadership development programs (but not finance), and marketing analytics. Also considering brand management.
What do you think? Thanks so much!!
I'm still not sure at what exact MBA schools to target, or how many. Vaguely, I'm aiming for the M7 and t15. Do you have any specific suggestions?
Thanks!
Hello there and good to hear from you dude!
You have tons of great stuff in your profile. First of all you hit all the important bases:
- Great GMAT
- Great GPA
-Great School
- Big name employers
But lots of people have that, more importantly, you have a history of success and leadership in your work, you have a fantastic story of overcoming a disability, and you have political volunteer work. All that stuff is top notch.
You are solidly top10 (or M&, if you prefer
) and I don't think you need to apply much lower than that. Within the top 10, honestly all the schools are excellent for whatever goals you have, and so normally you would aim for the best ranked schools that also fit you personally and professionally. To know more about that, I wold need to know more about your choice - whether you prefer a larger or smaller program, rural or urban, East coast or West, more collaborative or competitive... etc etc etc.
You have a great profile dude! Just make an amazing story and I am sure you will make it far!
