I am a 30 yr old Chinese Male.
Gmat: 650 Q 50 V 28
Undergrad: GPA 3.3 Agriculture economics . Top 3 Agriculture University in China
Work experience:
— 8 years Agri-Seed company, Top 10 Agri-Seed companies in China : 4 years in Market department; 4 years International trade and International communication department
— Member of International trade team , which market seeds of Hybrid rice\ Hybrid rapeseed\ Hybrid cotton from China to Bengal\Pakistan\Indonesia
— Receieved lot of certificates and awards: for example, Top 2 winner in Provincial Speech Competition
Leadership:
— leading a Market team that sale seeds of Hybrid rapeseed\ Hybrid cotton in China
— leading a team to hold successfully “the Training Course on Hybrid Oil Rape Seed Technology for Developing Countries”, the teacher in charge of it
— 2 yrs , the president of Student Union in University
— 1 yr, the Monitor of Freshman class in University
Extracurriculars:
— Agri-tech, especially Hybrid rice\ Hybrid rapeseed\ Hybrid cotton

My questions:
1\ Do you think my school choices make sense? If not, I also want to you introduce more appropriate schools.
2\Do you think it is wise to retake the GMAT and then apply the fellowship or not? My Gmat score is on the lower side and that is my main concern.

Apologies for the delay in replying; I've been traveling. Your strength is the unusualness of your industry and of your post-MBA focus. It's distinctive and gives your profile a strong, focused theme. Your negatives are your age and GMAT score. I think you have a decent chance of gaining admission to UC Davis and a good chance at Texas A&M. You may also want to consider business schools in the Midwest, such as University of Iowa, which must also have strong agricultural business programs.
Clearly, your verbal skills are what's holding you back, so all schools will expect you to show them that your English is strong enough to enable you to function in B-school. If you want to earn a fellowship you should seriously consider improving your GMAT verbal score or applying to B-schools with lower average GMAT scores, since fellowships usually go to students who have strong or unusual profiles relative to the school's typical profile. Hope this helps.
