Please have a look at my profile;
-Thai Male 24 years old
-GMAT 620 Q48 V27
- GPA 2.7 in Engineering (not so good I know) but in the last 2 years the average is like 3.3.
- I also have Masters of Art in Business and Managerial Economics with GPA 3.71
-Both degrees are from the most reputable University in Thailand
-I'll have almost 3 years of experience by june 2008
-Formerly worked with a Japanese Car manufacturer MNC here in Thailand for about 1.5 years, in charged of setting up a JVC with another company but unfortunately turned out not feasible (I did all the related work,can i sell this fact?)
-Currently,working in the biggest oil&gas company in thailand which Forbes ranked it #200 something. i'm working as an analyst in procurment department,my project now is to prepare legal contract between 2 companies.
From all this fact, do you think i can get into any top20s, where do u think should be my highest aim?I want to concentrate in finance though, planning to switch career. Please help and suggest Paul

I am not Paul, so I wont talk to all your information but there is one thing that immediately jumps out. Your GMAT; if at all possible you need to try to bring that up to improve your chances where ever you decide to apply. It is low and combined with your GPA it is going to really hurt your application. Generally if you have a low GPA you need to compensate for it with a high GMAT. Your Q is solid and works for every school...however, you V needs to be improved. Since you are not a native speaker this will hurt your chances because it will cause schools to wonder if you will be able to communicate with the other students and to perform the written work.
Don't be discouraged, the GMAT is one thing that can be addressed with some work. I suggest you start to frequent the GMAT advice sections on this board and really spend some time studying. Follow the advice of the people who have really brought their verbal score up significantly. There is endless information on how to best prep for the test and its all free.
