I have been prepping for the GMAT for the past 4 months. Here are my scores for the first 2 free Official Practise tests -
GMAT Official Mock 1 - 650 (8th May 2022) - taken after 3 weeks of ONLY SC & CR prep.
Splits - Q44 - 13 incorrect.
- V35 - 14 incorrect.
GMAT Official Mock 2 - 730 (11th September 2022) - with full prep in VA, not sure about Quant.
Splits - Q50 - 7 incorrect.
- V40 - 9 incorrect.
In the past 4 months of quite intermittent studying, I have focused mostly on Verbal prep since I am targeting at least a score of V42 but recently I came to know that the B-school I am targeting has a Quant cut-off of 75%ile which roughly translates to Q50 in the actual GMAT(Q49 is approximately 74%ile).
Even though I scored Q50 in Practise Test 2, I am not sure of my preparation in Quant and want to get A LOT better. I am not at all comfortable with 700+ questions from P&C, Probability, and Statistics. If I get more questions from these topics, I am sure my Quant score will decrease to the range of Q44-Q47.
I am pretty sure that the level of questions(especially Quant) will be much higher in the actual GMAT and I am nowhere close to Q50. I feel underconfident in Quant and want to be more sure of myself when I take the GMAT which is only a month away.
I have been using ONLY Official Guides and Official Questions for practise. Please suggest some good sources which can drive home my Quant prep. Looking forward to your valuable suggestions.
