Hello,
I have taken the GMAT thrice and I was devastated today after scoring a Q48, V38, 700. My last score was Q46 V41 on the 09th september.
The deadlines for round 1 are here and my target schools are Foster, Anderson, Tepper. I understand with this score I stand no chance at these schools given the fact that I fall into the Indian Male category.
Now, the situation is whether I prep again and apply for Round 2 or just got ahead with this score. Tepper and Anderson would reject me right off the bat, but I was wondering if I do have a slim chance at Foster?
I'm leaning towards a 4th attempt. But that means R1 is out of the picture. Please provide feedback.

Project Manager at Microsoft since December 2016. [~5 years]
Full time work ex:5 years (01-August- now).
Internships :
1. Business Development at a Fintech startup. [Jan to May '16]
2. 3 months as a Business Development Manager at a Sales CRM Startup [ prior to joining MS]
CGPA: 8.92/10 from VIT University, top 15% of Batch of 650 students.
Lead Student Council Representative for my batch.
Core committee member of 2 chapters at college [Technical + NGO]

Academics- Your undergrad GPA is good. Talking about your GMAT score, Foster, Tepper, and Anderson have average GMAT scores of 692, 680, and 707, respectively. So you have a good score for Foster and Tepper and do have a chance there. GMAT score is one element of your profile, and AdComs evaluate the overall profile. If the rest of your profile is solid and you can convey it well, you have a chance.
Work experience- Simply Great! Your overall experience, from internships to PM at Microsoft, has been amazing. You have had a significant impact on your current organization, which, if presented properly, will showcase your potential. You have demonstrated both leadership and innovation. Particularly notable is the fact that you have held various roles and responsibilities, which must have aided you in learning different aspects of the business. So, 10 on 10 on the work aspects.
ECs- Your ECs are missing. Try to bring something you are doing now. Your EC is nothing but your interests. You can bring any narratives of your personal life that you think aligns with the school’s values. Any community involvement?
Your achievements are impressive and demonstrate that you are a high-performing individual. What are your post-MBA goals? Your post-MBA goals will play a critical role in determining which b-school is best for you. However, as you had three schools on your list, I feel you had a good chance at Foster and Tepper. Round 1 deadlines are less than a month away, and I recommend that you should not rush through your applications. Instead, start working on your application now and apply for Round 2 so that you have ample time to create a strong application. What matters most in your application is how you connect the dots and create a unique story. I'd like to know your post-MBA goals to advise you better.
