Negatives stand out more than positives, when looking at straight numbers. Mentioning other things in your essays does nothing here, as when it comes to scores they are just looking at your scores.

Submit GRE only, unless you can raise everything up DRAMATICALLY during this retake of the GMAT you said you were working on.

Again, your Quant is impressive on GRE, your verbal is way too low on the GMAT = you don't want them to see that. Period.

Ahh there is a problem! On GMAT date, I had filled in the 4 colleges I wanted to send the result to. It happens before the test, right? unike the GRE where you see the score and then fill in the schools.

So when i open the online application, I already see GMAT and GRE scores have been verified. And they will surely see both the scores. So I am screwed..Anyways lets make the most of the situation. I am trying for improving my score. Now in this case, do I write in to them in additional essay, addressing the issue and telling them how other scores-IELTS 8.5, TOEFL 114, 109, even GRE's 158 verbal score and my international awards on essay writing and my 6 months international experience conducting workshops, compensates for the lop-sided GMAT score?

Damage control it surely is..But do i have any other option? Beans have been spilled. There is no way I can delete GMAT score from the application. I took GRE last year and decided to give GMAT a shot this year round. An additional info is that I am going personally to the campuses and meeting Admissions in mid October. What do you advise, Jillian?

Thanks
