Hi,

In terms of academic stats, you’re round about there for these schools. If you write a strong application, you’ve a realistic shot at these schools.

As per this data, Rice (Jones) extended scholarships to 94% of its class with the average grant being USD 33k and Emory extended scholarships to 57% of the class with the average being USD 25k. It doesn’t have data on the other two schools.

Although the data is two year old, you can infer the direction.

Whether an enrolled applicant lands a scholarship or not depends on number of factors. Pre-MBA career progression, brands at which you’ve worked, test scores, undergrad institution, GPA, and diversity are some of them.

Thanks for sharing.

It would greatly help to align what you have done in the past, and what your future goals are to the specifics of the program. Demonstrating the fit, and how you can benefit and contribute to the program would help your chances of admissions and scholarships.

All the best!

25 years Indian Female,
Hi Mi17- thanks for reaching out. My comments below in blue
Work Experience - I have total 4.4 years of work experience, Working as Team Lead at an Energy management and Automation firm. By the time I join a college I have a total work experience of 5 years

GMAT - 680(Q49,V32)Going to be hard to break into top 15 with this but for schools you are targeting this could be fine assuming all else is very strong.

Education - High School - 90%
- Secondary - 85%
- B.Tech from VIT university, with a GPA 3.43. Branch - Electronics and Instrumentation

Extra Curricular - Participated in Electrification campaign - helping the people in villages to get electricity
- Member of ISOI
- Received appreciation for Conserve My planet Campaign
- Taught English and Maths to underprivileged kids
- Volunteer in Save the tree campaign

I am looking forward to applyfor Full Time MBA at following colleges in R1
- Jones Graduate School of Business - Rice University
- Mays Business School
- Goizueta Business School
- Simon Business School

I would request you to please provide some insights on the possibility of getting into the above colleges with scholarships. agree with advice previously that Rice could be good for scholarships- I would also look at this list of programs offering high scholarships: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/photo-ess ... holarships
To add to what I see above I might also add Olin, Minn, Indiana, Mendoza

This information will be extremely helpful for me.

Thanks in advance
