Hi guys,
Hi NP720, I think your goals are realistic given your background. It is always good to have a target company in mind but you can also broadly state that you are interested in CPG industry with a firm such as xxxx. That way you demonstrate that you have some targets in mind but you are speaking more broadly.
And for how reasonable- it is how you explain your experience as a marketing consultant that will help the most. It is always good to have a finance background as being in brand management is like running your own business so that background can be very helpful.I would do some research on which firms hire internationals if you are international as that might change what you target. Short term goal- to be a brand manager in retail/cpg industry
Long term goal- marketing director of a fortune 500 company belonging to retail/cpg industry
My questions are:
1. While writing goals essay should I specify that I want to be a brand manager in so and so industry or can I skip the industry and directly write the name of companies which recruit from college
2. Is my goal reasonable sounding?
3. Can i mention both retail/cpg
Thanks in advance
