If you're looking for a role in IB, why aren't you targeting an MBA at a finance school? Many schools have a track specifically for a career in IB with internship opportunities between your 1st and 2nd year.

Hi there,

Best of luck with that GMAT! A score in the range puts you in the conversation for any school really. If you're looking to get into IB, you should look at top tier finance schools such as Wharton, CBS, and Booth. The odds of you getting in, however, really depends on the rest of your profile. You didn't need us to tell you that a 720-740 is in the range for those schools (because that's available on their website), but what we can help you with is assessing your profile as a whole to see if you're a good fit for these programs. To do that, we'll need more information such as your community involvement, roles you've had throughout your work experience, and overall leadership capacity. Feel free to share these details, and we'll be happy to lend our opinion. Best of luck!

To start with I have stayed in a boarding school from 5th standard. I have organised many cultural events in my school days. I have won medals in sports , have represented m y college in TT tournament. Have been a core team member in college fests. Have actively participated in himalayan trekking. In workplace I have handled the team of 5 people, have tried to improve the process and reduce delay. Currently working as a senior analyst and handing a team of 7 people. Apart from work I have also actively participated in volunteering work. Have worked in NGO for 3 years. Have taught poor kids, worked on the fund raising part as well.
Let me know if you need any more Information.
Would also like to have inputs on how can I improve my profile.

Regards,
Shashank

Thanks for sharing! Your leadership in organizing meaningful events and being a school ambassador along with your work experience are great. Winning sports medals could be a good story of personal achievement depending upon the circumstance. Being a core member in college fests is quite generic, so I don't know what to make of that. A good barometer is to see how you compare to your peers in this role - were there a lot of other people doing similar things? Or, is was your role rare and sought after? We'd love to help review your application and recommend ways to improve it through our services. Take a look to see our offerings and let us know which one would work best for you before your upcoming submission. Best of luck!
