lucky123456,
1) Keeping in mind that i cannot give GMAT again please tell me how should i work on my profile? Should join NGO's ? as GMAT is only one of the criteria ,so i think if i present a good profile i can be in good MBA college.
Your GMAT is good enough to get you into some good programs. Almost any industry sector other than technology would help you stand out from other IT applicants. You should only choose banking if it's related to your post-MBA goals. Good leadership experience with an NGO would also help set you apart. (You could also combine professional work in a non-IT field with NGO leadership outside of work.) Which path makes sense for you depends on what your post-MBA goals are.
2) My verbal and AWA score is Not good please tell me how to compensate it , ya i will try to get good LOR but apart that should I enrole some diploma course in English or some course, please suggest ....I have 2 yrs in hand and want to cover-up my each and every week sector.
I don't think the coursework would help much. About the only thing that would help is to show that you are a strong writer, i.e., by getting published in multiple English-language publications or by maybe posting a text-driven blog about something so they could see the good writing. But your verbal score is not so bad.
3) My Degree grade is in % not in GPA, tell me what does 70% means in the eyes of adcom's or what is the conversion of 70%??
They have people on staff or outside people who figure that conversion out. As long as you think it was the equivalent of a U.S. "A-" or "3.4" or higher, then you are fine.
4) is swapping from IT company to Banking sector is good idea? i am trying to get a assistant manger job in Bank,,, is it fine ??
Having a job with leadership responsibility will really help you, but it doesn't need to be in banking. You just want it to be outside of IT so you can stand out from other applicants.
5) What do you think are the realistic colleges for me either in US or Uk keeping in mind of 2011 class.
It's hard to mention schools because you didn't state your goals, but I think you might be competitive at schools like Indiana, Emory, Purdue, Washington Olin, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Babson etc.
Good luck,
