Hi there, the short answer is no, a "P" on your GMAT score report won't lead to an automatic rejection from any program. However, if you're worried about how it will be perceived, I would suggest addressing it in a brief (I emphasize "brief") optional essay/statement explaining what happened. If there's an open-ended field in the online application, you could include it there instead. But don't stress, it's definitely not a deal-breaker; it's just something you'll want to address to eliminate any questions and give you some peace of mind.

Good luck with your apps! Let us know if we can be of further help!

Best,
Melody

Thanks!! Actually Submitted my application on 2nd Jan(2 days before the deadline) and haven't got a reply. Got me scared!!
*fingers crossed in hope*

In the sectional break I used my mobile phone and was not allowed to complete my exam.
I retook 16 days later and got a 700.
Now the score card shows a 'P' in the previous exams column of my score report.
Will it lead to rejections from MBA programs?

Agree that this is not a deal ender. Just make a brief note in optional essay of what happened. No excuses and don't dwell on it. If all else in your application is good, this won't hold it back.
I hope they don't

Certainly not a deal breaker, they will most likely be curious about what happened so you will want to briefly address this in the optional and move on

Good luck on your applications and hopefully you get interview invites soon. This certainly won't kill your chances.

Got invited to interview in 4 out of the 5 programs I applied to. Either I'm 'too bad' at interviews (they seemed to go well though ?) or my application was not good enough, GPA, or late or could just be the P.
Already got rejection from 2. Foster/ISB.
