sdadhikari2811, The OG is recommended because it contains the questions that are closest to the actual exam.

An approach that is effective for me is to train on GMAT Club to master each topic and question type, and then practice with OG questions to apply those skills under realistic conditions.

I recommend reading this — it explains all of this in much more detail!

Hi sdadhikari2811, OG is not required per se. You can find virtually all of the OG questions discussed here on GMAT Club.

The benefit of owning the OG, though, is that you get access to the online question bank with the purchase of OG. The online question bank enables to you to practice OG questions in mixed sets, or in quiz format.
