Got it. Any shorter way to it. I knew the longer way.
You can copy paste the question into search and check the forum. There might be someone proposing a shorter way than this one.

Easy way to solve a tsd question is to visualize it.
V----S ; Straight line.
Ratio2:1.
D1=D2
Gives 3 part D.
Divide the line in 3 part.
V-D-D-D-S
2 D covered by V @ 10 min
D = 5
10+5 = 15 min for V
D for S is 10 min, therefore, S will take a total of 30 min.
Satisfies the ratio of 2:1.

Visualizing helps reduce the memorization of unnecessary formulas

DS Question 1 - Sep 10 A drawer contains 8 socks, and 2 socks are selected at random without replacement. What is the probability that both socks are black? (1) The probability is less than 0.2 that the first sock is black. (2) The probability is more than 0.8 that the first sock is white. Source: Magoosh | Difficulty: Hard
1) If p(black)<0.2
then
x/8<2/10
10x<16
x<1.6
x is either 1 or 0. Either way, there is no possibility of getting two black socks. Suff.

2) if p(white)>0.8
then
x/8>8/10
10x>64
x>6.4
The quantity of white socks is 7 or 8.
If we assume the best case scenario, in which there are only white and black socks (this is not given, but we can assume it) then the highest number of black socks possible is 1, making it impossible for there to be 2 black socks selected.
Sufficient.

Q, If a and b are positive, is a^ b/2 > a^b?
(1) 1 < b < b^a
(2) a < b

I understand that from the Q we get that a^b > 1 But then we say, So a>1 ???!!! why ? why a>1 ?

Sorry i made a mistake in the pre question this is right:

two pos exponents will only have a value less than 1 if the base is some fraction.

So if a^b<1, a must be less than one given that a and b are both positive

If you take a min value of a, say 1 and raise it to a power b, the limit of 1^b as b approaches 0 is 1, so 1^b will be will always be more than one

PS Question 1 - Sep 10 If grapes are 92% water and raisins are 20% water, then how much did a quantity of raisins, which currently weighs 10 pounds, weigh when all the raisins were grapes? A. 25 pounds B. 46 pounds C. 92 pounds D. 100 pounds E. 146 pounds Source: Veritas Prep | Difficulty: Hard

Answer is B
Because if raisins water is 20% and it’s weight is 10 pounds so the there is half weight of water and half raisins in 20% of it so when raisins are in grape form it’s 92% that means half of its weight is 46 so the answer is B.
If I’m wrong then explain how so that I can point out my weak point

Dude the weight loss is only the water that evaporated, grape content that turned to raisins remains constant.
In a shell, that is grape, that content when from 8 to 8, I.e., 10x.
So 0.08x = 0.8x10 = 100.

8 to 80*

A is the answer

Because LCM of 3,4,5,7 is 420

So we need a number which is a multiple of 420 and less than 5000

So it’s 4200
