yellow - x
blue - 3x
red - x/2
orange - x/2

total - x/2 + x/2 + 3x + x = 5x

yellow = (x /5x ) X 100 = 20 %

Of the scientists that attended a workshop, 31 were Wolf Prize winners and 13 of those 31 had also won the Nobel Prize. Of those that had not won the Wolf Prize, 3 more had won the Nobel Prize than had not won the Nobel Prize. If a total of 50 scientists attended the workshop, how many of them were Nobel Prize winners?

Please help, right answer is 24

13/31 of Nobel prize winner are already given, from the rest 19 who didn’t win wolf, winners were 3 more than non-winners. Only one option possible, where given condition will be satisfied that is: 11 won 8 didn’t win.
So in total 13+11 =24

I just started preparing this is what I came up with. Don’t know if it’s the right way

31, were Wolf prize winners, so 19 didnt win the Wolf prize.

Of those 19, let x be non-winners
And x+3 be winners
So, x+x+3 = 19
2x = 16
X=8
X+3 = 11 - Non Wolf Prize winner but Noble Prize winner

13 - Wolf and Noble Prize Winner

So, 11+13= 24 Noble Prize Winners
