Hi Paul,
I would love your advice on my profile, I'm either looking to improve upon this or see if it would be enough now to get into part-time Chicago GSB. I have yet to take the GMAT, what do you think I should shoot for? I was planning on something well over 700 since I am weak in leadership and EC's plus I do not have much that stands out but if I can't get in with the below and well over 700 I plan on improving on those.
White Male 24
2.5 years as a senior financial analyst at a fortune top 25 firm in there structured finance trustee group. Looking to get into something new now that will allow me to use my investment decision making skills more, but I have had exceptional growth here and do have some leadership roles that would help. Plus currently it is a great analytical role which I hear would be great for Chicago GSB.
School - state shcool- finance - gpa 3.7 major gpa 3.92
Passed all three levels of CFA exam, Charter pending 1.5 more years experience.
EC's are lacking, only major thing in undergrad was Investment Foundation Club where we ran a foundation's investment policy, i.e. asset allocation, stock selection.
Goals - is to manage an alternative investment/private equity fund or consulting, and I would love to get more involved in the community. Also interested in international/emerging markert investments.
-Thanks.
