Hi apoorv601,

Since you took the FULL CAT each time, you appear to be scoring at a really high level. The GMAT is a specific 'event' that you can train for, so the more realistic and 'test-like' you make your CATs, the more likely the score results are to be accurate. If you deviate from the standard Test Day 'event' (skipping sections, pausing the CAT, taking it at home, taking it at a different time of day from your Official Test time, etc.), your scores can deviate too.

I'm interested to see your scores after you take the first GMAC CAT as those CATs are the most realistic ones on the market.

When are you planning to take the GMAT?
When are you planning to apply to Business School?

Hi
I recently took Princeton review tests and my scores varied a lot. I have also taken some Kaplan practice tests and score quite better than the Princeton tests

My Princeton Tests scores
Test 1 - 660 (QA - 32/37 , VA - 30/41)
Test 2 - 740 (QA - 28/37 , VA - 35/41)

Quant of Kaplan tests is balanced overall and i think close to actual GMAT questions
Verbal of Kaplan tests is little hard than actual GMAT
Test 1 - 740 (QA - 24/37 , VA - 23/41)
Test 2 - 760 (QA - 34/37 , VA - 30/41)

I am not able to make sense out of the score? :? :? :? :?

Hey Apoorv,

Don't waste your time on the number of correct answers. Focus on the score you get, your percentile and the overall score - though more than focusing on your score, focus on the errors you made, the questions in which you took too much time etc. Figure out your weaknesses from the tests and improve on those.
You seem to be in a good position. An official practice test will give a better indication.
Your IR looks decent as well. Ensure that you get at least a 4 on AWA. Check out an AWA template.

Hey apoorv601,

We can't comment for other tests but do note that no test prep company's algorithm will exactly match the real thing. The best we can do is get close.

In terms of our scoring, many of our students report scores that are +/- 30 points from their actual GMAT test and so are a relatively good indicator of their performance. That said, no practice test can perfectly replicate the actual score algorithm, but this is quite close.

If you decide to try a practice test from a test prep company different from the ones you are currently using, then you are more than welcomed to try a free GMAT PILL practice test here complete with detailed performance and timing analytics: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... ctice-test
