Product Management related certications

Question

I am an Indian IT with 4 years of exp. 
I am planning to apply for 2023 Sept intake in top US B-Schools. Can anyone suggest a certification for Product Management which can add points to my application.

There has yet to be a "standard" PM certification established; however, if you're just starting as a product manager, you can go for either a Pragmatic Marketing or AIPMM certification; it's certainly worth the time investment on your part, mostly for the basic information that you'll learn and upon which you can build your skills and best practices that you can apply across markets, products, and companies. This is not going to open many doors for you. However, it may make a difference amongst applicants who are similarly competent because it proves that you have undergone a course in the fundamental mechanics of the trade. A Product Manager does not require certification to demonstrate competency, but there is nothing wrong with obtaining certification to distinguish yourself from others.

Hello private123 , Hope this finds you well. Yes, you may go ahead with the suggested certification but it isn't quite going to be a deal maker. Along with this, try and identify other aspects of your profile that you can strengthen considering you come from an overrepresented pool of applicants. You may look at taking up new responsibilities at work, leadership roles even beyond work, or improving your GMAT score.
