I think your profile has all the elements of a very competitive applicant. I think you should target top 15 programs. Pick one that is slightly "safe" and then two or three others that appeal to you. The main weakness that I see (from what you wrote) is a compelling story for why business school and why now. If you simply want a management role in a law firm, I don't think an MBA will be helpful, but, if you prefer to change careers then it makes sense. You'll need to craft a story that brings together your skills/experience in IP law with your future business goals. Your grades and scores show that you can handle the work, now you just need to explain why. Remember also to discuss the unique perspective that you will bring to the class, etc.
For top schools, it isn't enough to have a strong GPA and a strong GMAT. You will also need great LORs and compelling essays. An additional way to show you are serious about a business degree would be to take a business (intro to corporate finance or accounting) course at a community college now.
Good luck!
