Hello Veritas Team,
I am a male IT Engineer (Certified SAP ABAP Consultant) with an overall IT experience of around 2.5 years. Even though I am not at a lead position, I have still been given the responsibility of leading a team of 3 juniors. I have also worked full time for an NGO and led a team of around 20 volunteers to achieve the desired goals. During my undergrad years, I have been on various leadership positions at college clubs(was the Vice-Chairperson and Secretary of the IEEE student branch) and college fest (was the Events and Publicity Head of the First Tech Fest of the College). Have also organized various intra-college and inter-college events.
Having been at various leadership positions at college and work place, I believe I am good at managing people and leading them to glory. Therefore, I have developed a keen interest in General Management/Leadership Programmes being offered during MBA. I wish to learn the nuances of Management and Leadership to further hone my skills. I wish to choose Marketing Electives during my MBA so that I can get a business knowledge (which would be beneficial for the career switch I am looking for) and then move on to strategic positions later on in my Career.
GMAT Score : 700 (Q48 V38 AWA 6)
Class 10th - 96.4 (CBSE)
Class 12th - 84.8 (CBSE)
UnderGrad - 72.6
Can you please suggest if I will be considered for the General Management/Leadership Programmes at the B Schools. I really liked the Leading and Managing Core Course being offered by UNC Kenan-Flagler. Do I have enough experience to be shortlisted for an interview at this school or any other B School for the above mentioned programme?

Thanks for sharing your profile. Nice work on being clear on your goals post-MBA. You should be in range on paper for a potential interview at a school of the caliber UNC. Now you are coming from a very competitive applicant pool so I generally like to see Indian applicants at least at or 20pts above the avg score at their target schools. You are a bit under so understand that your GMAT will not necessarily be seen as a strength for you.

Thanks for the reply.
Below are a few more points I missed in my last post:
I have been a part of the college Dramatics club and won various street play competitions. I have also completed a research paper which is published in OPSEARCH [official journal of Operations Research Society of India(ORSI)].
I also plan to apply at McCombs, ISB, NUS, Cornell Johnson, Emory and Kelly, apart from Kenan Flagler. With my profile (with total of around 3 years of exp in NGO and social sector) and my post MBA goals, do you believe my choice of colleges is correct? Should I look for more options in the Safe Category?
