My profile is a bit different than most.
Age: 27 (28 at matriculation)
School: I won't finish undergrad until next spring. I've been working full time and going to classes full time for the last couple of years. Taken winter & summer classes to finish more quickly.
Major/GPA: Economics. Current GPA 4.0 from a state university.
GMAT: 710 (49Q/38V)
Career: 3 years in retail management; Currently-4 years in corporate management for same retailer. 4 promotions, and probably another one at review time in January.
Extracurricular: Very little due to full time work & school.
I have 3 schools of interest: UNC [Kenan] Exec MBA, (2 UNC Exec MBA alums at work that will write great LOR for me), Duke [Fuqua] Exec MBA, Wake [Babcock] evening MBA. Will be able to get a stellar LOR from immediate supervisor and possibly our CEO.
Will the fact that I will just be finishing undergrad next May be a huge factor? Do I need to wait at least a year after graduation? Will it depend on essays/app? Thanks for any advice.
