Hello, I would like a profile eval please.

Work experience: 5 Years (By Fall 19), 2 Years as a grants/budget analyst, promoted to grants specialist after, promoted to grants admin in less than a year.
Extra curriculars: Fraternity Alumni Philanthropy Chair/Treasurer, Staff Advisory to an undergraduate fraternity, Party planning/philanthropy committee at work.
Undergrad school/major: George Mason University, Economics
Other education/coursework: DOJ grants certified, GMU Grants
Race/nationality: White
Sex: Male

Score (include breakdown!): 650 48Q-31V
Undergrad GPA: 3.01

MBA Info

Goal of MBA: Not quite sure, either Management consulting or non profit leadership.
Target schools: UCSD, USD, Smeal, McDonough, Marshal/Anderson (I know they are a longshot, worth applying?)

How much effort have you put forth trying to improve your verbal score? I would recommend that you put some emphasis on that because it will really change the landscape for you quite a bit. Given that you're a native speaker I feel like there might be some room for some growth. Because your GPA is not great you will want to have a good GMAT score and I think that will put you in competitive position to the schools you have listed. And maybe even a little bit higher than those. 700 would be great... I think if you got a 700 you could potentially be a candidate for Cornell because they are more flexible on grades
