27 at matriculation, married, living in New England. Want to study strategy, or general management with strategy electives.
GMAT: 730 (48Q, 44V)
UGrad: 3.0 in general engineering from a small top 20 liberal arts school. Prize for outstanding senior project. One terrible grade; I re took it the following semester and got an A. That professor will be submitting a supplemental recommendation to schools that allow it (other recs are professional).
W/Exp: 4 years at matriculation in a boutique engineering design firm. Strong growth while working here, currently leading projects with senior-level staff on the team.
E/Cs: in college, leadership positions in school clubs and fraternity. Currently serving as a chair for a professional engineering organization.
I am looking to stay in the northeast, however, my wife and I have decided that we would move if I was admitted to Kellog or Booth. Am I competitive at the following: Tuck (top choice, applying early action), Stern, Sloan/MIT?
What are other suggestions for programs in the Northeast? I will not be applying to Simon.
Thanks!
