Thanks for the advice Scott!. If i hold off till next year, how would it look if i quit my current job and took a p/t job and took acctg/finance/RE classes and volunteered in my spare time. Maybe throw in a overseas trip in there as well. Would I be able to shoot for a top school? How would they look at the resignation in my profile?
I think I'm still pressing my luck and goin for a late app to a not soo great school this year to keep options open.

I understand why you want to apply now, but you're jumping in really late in the game, and it sounds like you have some big holes (e.g., no volunteer work, unclear career goals) in your application. I recommend studying for the GMAT and working on your weaknesses over the next seven/eight months, and applying in the fall.
