Hi 01chengm,

They don’t prefer one career goal or geography over other. What matters is the rationale behind your goals. Generally, an audacious goal will require stronger convincing. Startup, for example, is an audacious goal, and you should show some of your unique positioning/ understanding of issues which will get you a fair crack at the venture. Second, it’s good to have some transferable skills or experience from your pre-MBA experience.

Third, an MBA should make sense to achieve your career goals.

Thanks for sharing your profile. Overall I like your profile it has some nice unique elements which is necessary to compete in the very competitive Chinese pool. I think you are a bit out of range with your school choices and would recommend you scale down to 10-15 given your GMAT score an tough pool. Focus on clarifying your career goals and connecting the dots on how your past will allow you to achieve these future goals
