Planning to apply for Fall 2010. Please go through my profile:
GMAT: 690 (50Q / 31V / 4.5 AWA)
GPA: Undergrad 9.15/10 (3.66/4.0) B.Tech, Computer Science & Engineering
Male/Indian/25
Experience: 5 years by matriculation
2 years as Programmer Analyst at a Software firm.
2.5 years as Director in Advertising agency and Infrastructure firm (our family businesses)
Extra Curriculars:
Organized technical symposiums at UG college, VOlunteer in a NGO, which educates people on disaster management in coastal areas
Targeted schools (Management Consulting):
US: Kellogg, Duke, Darden, Emory
International: ISB India, IESE Spain, Oxford Said, Warwick
Work for 5 years after graduation to enhance my business knowledge and global exposure and return to our family business.
If my targeted schools are way ahead of reach, could u suggest me some other schools.

The only thing about the info you gave me that helps you stand out from the crowded and fiercely competitive "male Indian IT" pool is the Director in your family firm. I recommend playing that up in your essays. Unfortunately, I don't think that's enough to make you competitive at Kellogg. Duke, Darden will be reaches. IESE and Oxford will be more doable. You should be competitive at Emory and ISB India, and you have a good shot at Warwick. Given your goals, consider Georgetown, CMU, and Western Ontario.
