Good evening,

GMAT 700 (Q49 & V36), AWA 6, IR 7
Work Experience
Product/Project Engineer at a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier - Currently 2 years, Matriculation 3+ years

Why MBA
- Project engineer subcategory of project management; Really enjoy it and want to get better
- Shore up my weaker areas (technical skills are good) and get me a step up in the future
Why MBA Now
- Want to change commodity (automotive to aerospace) while staying in a project engineer type role, this change makes a perfect time to do the MBA
- Allows a head start into the new industry while limiting the affect of my downtime during this switch
Goals
Short Term Goal - Project Manager at Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce
Long Term Goal - VP Engineering/Engineering Manager at ULA, SpaceX
Target Schools
Since I am not switching industries, I think 1 year MBA is more suitable. Unfortunately, since I do not have a business undergraduate degree, American Schools are out. I thought of UCLA, Ross, MIT, Tuck as good engineering universities and rejected them due to a) very long reach school and b) 2 year programs. Can anyone please shed some light on this and confirm my hypothesis?
Currently, targeting in no particular order:
Queens
Hec Montreal
Schulich at York
Telfer at uOttawa
Desautels at McGill
Ivey at Western
I believe all the schools in my list to be reasonable provided my profile, but I am not positive. Can anyone please confirm?
Any other possible suggestions? Evaluation?
Thank you
