I need to give you props, Alex. Here's my final result 7 months after your evaluation:

Denied without interview:
Sloan, Haas
Let me repost my profile again:
Age: 30
Location: New York
WE: Software engineer roles in IT department
WE1: Top software company
WE2: Bulge bracket Wall St. firm
WE3: Top media conglomerate
GPA: 3.37
UPenn masters in CS, undergrad in a university in Taiwan
GMAT: 760 (Q: 50, V: 44) AWA: 5.5
EC in UG: Tons of leadership positions in Taiwan
EC after UG: Stern biz plan competition, American Cancer Society (all in New York).
As you predicted, Sloan and Haas, with their competitive engineer demographic pool, were really tough for me to get in. I poured in 120% of my effort in emphasizing my leadership/teamwork experiences in my Wharton, Kellogg essays. Perhaps that helped me get an interview or waitlisted decision instead of a straight ding (there is hope for other old Asian IT guys). At the end, I got into the two schools that you thought I'd be competitive in.
I have to say, either you have a magical crystal ball or you're really good, Alex.
