Hello, thanks again for the evaluation ahead of time, haha. Well, I am looking to a more international program with an asian focus, So I know HKUST and INSEAD(singapore) but I am worried that I may be wasting my time with applying. Also, I am wondering about the transfer protocal for schools, I know if I apply in the USA, I will get into a school, but nothing exciting. So I will be looking to transfer after the first or second semester. Further, after a semester in a US school with a decent GPA could I transfer to HKUST or INSEAD? I know I am asking a lot of questions, haha so just one answer is better than none thanks again

SUNY Geneseo Poli Sci undergrad, less than impressive gpa probably 2.5.
Half a year internship at high profile lobbying firm
almost a year at a Capital leasing firm in operations
Finally the last two years I have been living in Taiwan, teaching(corporate and childrens) english and studying chinese.

My hunch is that HKUST is in range, INSEAD Singapore will be a stretch unless your GMAT is 680 or greater (and ideally 700+). Also, I'm not so sure about whether you can transfer from one b-school program to the next.
