Hi,
I am a 28 year old Indian female. My profile is below:
GMAT: 740 (Q48, V42)
Work Experience: 3.5 years at a Big4 Consulting firm in New York (technology consulting for financial services clients). Traveled extensively for work, including 5 months in London (Jan 2009 - Present)
Recommendations: Solid recommendations (including former clients at top investment bank and other major FS firms)
Grad: MS in Information Systems from top 20 business school in the Midwest (GPA: 3.7) - (graduated Dec 2008)
Undergrad: BS in Apparel Merchandising (minor in Information Technology) from top design school in India (GPA: 7.1/10 - Not the best performance, due to a variety of reasons such as being in the first ever graduating class of the school, constantly evolving program content, faculty and infrastructure etc. Basically, this was a poor choice made by an 18 yr old straight out of high school. Unfortunately, it could not be rectified midway because the Indian education system does not provide the flexibility of changing majors and/or credit transfers. Dropping out would have meant losing a year) - (graduated May 2007)
Extracurricular: Nothing to write home about. CSR initiatives through work, on-campus recruiting
Other: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Target schools:
1. Wharton
2. Booth
3. Columbia
4. INSEAD
5. LBS
Any inputs on the strengths/weaknesses of my profile (and what I can do to improve it) would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
